I have been wanting harder workouts because I am now up to about 6.5-8.5 miles per day walking and try to work out 2-3 times per day to get me off the plateau I hit in June. I lost 5.7 lbs over this past 2 weeks and just came home with the Shred DVD last night. Unfortunatly when I put it in this morning it didn't work and just kept stopping. I thought about just getting my money back but after all of these great reviews I am going to exchange it for another one. Thanks for the info. I work out for at least an hour to 2 hours at the gym, almost every day and decided to jump in to shred with my mom. We did level one and during the workout, I kept saying "this is pretty easy"... the next day, I could barely make it down the stairs!!! Unbelievable! I did it everyday and missed only 3 days + I ran for 1 hour on most days and watched what I ate. Sinc...Ash,<br><br>I have quickly glanced through your post. Since, I have some experience with this program, I thought I'd leave you a comment. Do you track you heart rate while doing 30 day shred? See how your heart rate functions? I find that for sm workout it reaches upto 86% of my MHR. I am still not able to do work out with exact intensity as JM does, but only a slightly low. What I have found amazing is doing 2-3 mins of cardio abt 5-10 mins after JM workout such that I push my heart rate to 85-90% of my MHR. Whenever I have tried that I have seen about 1lb difference the next day. It is my guess that it boosts ur metabolism significantly. And 2-3 mins is all that I could pull off. Amazingly, my heart rate did not go below 100 for next 15 mins. And next my resting heart rate was 52. WHOA!
