I agree that your comment did come across as very negative and judgmental and as a sister, you should be positive by saying things like "Oh well, you'll make up for it by losing 2 this week." After all, holidays are a part of life and in reality there are times that we are going to eat more than others. I used to be really good at staying in control while I was losing but now that I'm maintaining, I tend to splurge more...I need to work on that.<br><br>1 lb is no big deal though...it could be water weight! I also think everyone tends to gain more in the winter v. the summer, not just because of the holidays but also because we're much more sedentary.
