Taking a break...

While it may seem obvious to some people, I've been taking a break from blogging.
There are a few reasons for this - lack of time, stress, lack of motivation, laziness, etc.

Health and fitness is still absolutely important to me and central in my life, but my blog just isn't fitting in right now. I hope to continue blogging, but who knows?
I feel like the reason for this blog was to motivate people to start and continue a healthy life journey, and I think I accomplished that.
My interests in health and fitness have now branched off into more specific areas that I don't think appeal to the masses (like my superfoods posts didn't get a big reader response). While I still continue to learn and put the things I learn into practice, I realize that it's not what everyone wants to read about, if they did, they could pick up a book and read it rather than read what I paraphrase.

Perhaps after we move and I get settled into whatever it is I'm doing, I'll find more inspriation to write, but journaling my life online just isn't something I really feel comfortable doing.
Thanks to everyone who has read my posts and I hope that you've found my random thoughts and insight amusing and informative. My cooking blog will live on for sure, at least for a while, so you can always reach me there, and who knows, maybe I'll be back!

  15. Hey Ash, I really miss your blog :( I am so glad that you are still posting on your food blog though - I love your interesting new takes on tried and true favorites. I really hope you continue to post on this blog from time to time, but I understand burnout! I'd love to hear how your life change is going.
