Even though Lou cancelled today's run doesn't mean you should skip running altogether. Hal Higdon's plan says to run 2 miles today. You need to do that. Or perhaps 3, and then rest Friday and Saturday. You need to have one last great run before the Half Marathon. It will give you peace of mind. And an extra 400 calories burned would be nice.
Don't go home and flake out on the run. It will be light until 6:30. You have to do it. Don't let the dogs crying guilt you out of it. Don't let thoughts of dinner suck you in. Or the couch and DVR'd tv shows. They'll be there when you get back.
PS - Your blog readers WILL hold you accountable. They SHOULD give you hell if you don't do it. You need to post your Nike+ results tonight as proof.
